Remote video monitoring for hospitals, clinics and pharmacies
Extra eyes for parking garages, entrances, satellite clinics and after-hours pharmacies. We watch public and exterior areas only, keep audio off, and call your security desk or facility contact when something needs a response.
The risk
What hospitals and clinics deal with
Hospitals report rising assaults, and parking structures, side entrances and small clinics are hard to staff around the clock. Remote monitoring does not replace officers at an emergency department. It gives the places without them a person watching.

Answers
What live monitoring can and can’t do
We can
- Add a person watching garages, satellite clinics and after-hours pharmacies
- Call your security desk, facility contact or the people on your call list
- Save clips for your incident reports
We can’t
- Replace on-site officers at an emergency department, where a physical response is needed
- Monitor clinical or private areas. We won't
Privacy and compliance
Not legal advice. Have your counsel confirm the rules that apply to your site.
- HIPAA does not ban security cameras, but footage can become protected health information when it identifies a patient in a care setting. That is why we watch only non-clinical public areas and exteriors.
- Audio is always off. Viewing access is limited to the operators assigned to your site.
- If your compliance team needs a Business Associate Agreement or a security review, raise it before setup and we will work through it with you. Have your counsel confirm what applies to your facility.

Hospitals & clinics: common questions
Is remote monitoring HIPAA compliant?
Compliance depends on what is watched and how footage is handled. We monitor public and exterior areas only, never treatment areas, keep audio off and limit who can view. Ask your counsel to confirm what your facility needs.
Can you replace our security officers?
Not at an emergency department, where physical response matters. We extend coverage to garages, clinics and after-hours sites.
Who do you call?
Your security desk, facility manager or the contacts you list, in the order you set.
Can you monitor several clinics?
Yes. Each location has its own plan and coverage hours.
Do you record or listen to audio?
No. Audio stays off to protect patient privacy and to respect state consent laws.
